A member of the National Watercolor Society, Stanwood Camano Art Guild, and Camano Art Association, Kelly finds inspiration in nature, the ocean, gardens, travel, and the beautiful fleeting moments of everyday life.

Inspired by Sorolla's beloved After the Bath, this painting explores the warmth, light, and quiet intimacy of a sun-drenched day by the sea. Sorolla's remarkable ability to capture Mediterranean sunlight and the feeling of warm air against sun-kissed skin has been a particular inspiration for Kelly as she explores soft pastel.

For Kelly, painting is about more than creating an image—it is about being present in a moment and giving herself permission to explore something new. After working primarily in digital art earlier in her career, she turned to traditional painting later in life and discovered that she couldn't live without paint.
